Stacked Skincare wanted a solution that changed the conversation in therapeutic cold rolling that reduced swelling and inflammation. I found that the egg shape is the perfect curve to contact more parts of the face than traditional flat cold rolling tools. Taking the egg-shaped head off center allows for better access in difficult to reach spots. The transitions had to be perfect and engineering collaboration with the manufacturing team allowed for sightless ways to reliably assemble the tool. The silicone cap was inspired by Greek amphorae as a way to keep it clean when being cooled in the freezer. All while continuing the strong brand language of the Stacked Skincare product line.
